ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES This job description is intended to define minimum job responsibilities for employee awareness and training purposes.

? Other Duties, 5% ? Maintains clean and safe working conditions in Dock/Warehouse area.
? Develops and implements plans for efficient work flow in the Dock/Warehouse.
? Performs inspection of equipment and tools prior to use ? Performs equipment maintenance and cleaning ? Outgoing Shipment Controls, 70% ? Commits orders and pulls pick tickets for order shipments.
? Picks physical FG inventory and updates electronic FG inventory.
? Packages products according to regulatory and customer requirements.
? Ensures workmanship standards on products packaged for shipment.
? Confirms accuracy of product identifiers to shipping papers.
? Registers UPS ground shipments into designated software.
? Inventories finished goods packaging supplies (e.
g.
, boxes, tape, overseals); places purchase requisition for inventory needs.
? Maintains work instruction:
Packaging Guide.
? Follows Finished Goods Inventory Control work instruction.
? Incoming Shipment Controls, 25% ? Verifies incoming shipments meet purchase order requirements, notifies Purchasing Manager of discrepancies.
? Moves raw materials to storage warehouse holding area immediately upon receipt and enters received product into electronic inventory.
? Submits raw material receiving paperwork to QC; non-raw material receiving paperwork to Accounts Payable.
? Notifies requester of delivery or delivers goods received.
? Stocks raw materials after QC approval.
QUALIFICATIONS ? Minimum High School Diploma or general education degree (GED).
? 1-2 years of shipping and/or receiving experience (preferred) ? Forklift experience; Forklift certification (required after hire, renewed every year) ? DOT, ICAO, IMDG Hazmat shipper's certification (required after hire, renewed every 3 years) KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED ? Basic general file saving and Microsoft Office- Excel, Word, Outlook ? Ability to follow procedures and guidelines and take assignments from a manager ? A team player attitude ? Strong self-initiative ? Strong organizational and prioritization skills ? Basic Math skills ? The environment is fast-paced.
